Who was he?

He was a Frenchman born in 1928 who became interested in astrology at a very early age and decided to devote his career to investigating it.  To this purpose he studied psychology and statistics at the Sorbonne, so that he would have the appropriate scientific background to carry out good quality research in the field.  He and his wife spent their lives collecting and analyzing thousands of natal charts.  His pioneering research provided a scientific foundation for astrology for the first time.  He wrote many books in French presenting his results, only a few of which have been translated into English.

In 1989 he was awarded the National Astrological Society’s Marc Edmund Jones Award in recognition for his lifelong achievements.

He died in 1991.
